About The Position

Join Austin Country Club as a temp Sports Center Attendant and help us provide exceptional positive experiences for our valued members! We're looking for an outgoing, friendly, and member-oriented person to become the newest member of our Austin, TX team. You'll earn $18.00 per hour and enjoy temp perks like Pro shop discounts, Daily meals and beverages provided by our renowned culinary team, and Provided uniforms. Founded in 1899, Austin Country Club is one of the oldest existing clubs in Texas and home to Harvey Penick, one of the greatest golf instructors who ever lived. Requirements

16+ years old
CPR/AED/First Aid certifications OR ability to obtain them within 60 days of hire
Professional experience with recordkeeping, cash handling, sales, merchandising, or tennis operations
Friendly, approachable, and welcoming demeanor
Customer service mindset with excellent communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Multi-tasking skills
Ability to actively listen to guests and understand their needs
Ability to empathetically, patiently, and professionally address member concerns and resolve problems
Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
Comfort with escalating issues to management when necessary
Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment (phones, printers, computers, etc.)
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

Nice To Haves

High school degree or equivalent
Country club experience
Professional customer service experience

Responsibilities

Warmly greet guests, answer questions, collect payments, and process registrations while providing excellent customer service
Complete daily operations tasks promptly, including stringing tennis racquets and cleaning around the shop
Monitor facility access and ensure all guests comply with rules and regulations
Stay informed about our programs, schedules, and facility policies and share this information with members in person, over the phone, and through email
Collaborate with clubhouse staff, the hospitality department, and other teams to ensure total member satisfaction
