Recreational Sports Attendant
About The Position
O'Malley Sports Center is a community-focused facility offering a variety of recreational sports and activities for all ages. We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Recreational Sports Attendant to help us provide an excellent experience for our guests. As a Recreational Sports Attendant, you'll be responsible for overseeing facility operations, ensuring safety, assisting with sports activities, and providing top-notch customer service. You’ll also perform light janitorial duties and help with special events, ensuring the facility remains clean and welcoming. This could be a 4/10s position. Including weekends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Availability for both morning and evening shifts, including weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stay active for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a sports, recreational, or customer service setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or must be obtained within 60 days.
Responsibilities
- Supervise facility use, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
- Assist with sports activities and special events.
- Enforce safety rules and ensure proper equipment use.
- Provide customer service, answer questions, and resolve issues.
- Perform light janitorial duties and handle administrative tasks as needed.
