Sport Referee Founded in 1997, Think Together partners with schools to change the odds for kids by providing award-winning programs during and outside the school day. JOB SUMMARY: Officiate assigned school volleyball matches in a safe, fair, and professional manner while applying applicable volleyball rules consistently and promoting sportsmanship and a positive environment for students, coaches, staff, and spectators.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of official volleyball rules and officiating procedures.
• Consistent attendance, punctuality, reliability, and impartiality.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with students, coaches, staff, and spectators.
• Ability to remain calm and make timely, fair, and impartial decisions in a competitive environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous volleyball referee or officiating experience required.
• Must pass Live Scan, a criminal background check completed through fingerprinting.
• Provide documentation of satisfactory tuberculosis clearance as required.
• Reliable transportation is required to meet the needs of the position.
• Must be available for assigned match schedules.

Responsibilities

• Officiate assigned volleyball matches and enforce official volleyball rules.
• Make fair and consistent calls throughout each match.
• Communicate decisions clearly and professionally with students, coaches, staff, and spectators.
• Promote sportsmanship and safe, respectful conduct during matches.
• Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled assignments.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
