Sport Coordinator Basketball
About The Position
The Sport Coordinator Basketball is a part-time, weekend position responsible for coordinating and coaching a basketball league for Northern Kentucky University. The role involves working a 6-week late fall league and a 7-week winter league, with specific dates provided. The coordinator must be available to work Saturdays for the full duration of each season, with approximate hours from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, though the final schedule is TBD. Training will be provided for all positions, but a background in sports or customer service is a plus. This is described as a great job for college students looking to make extra money, emphasizing the need for reliability. No certification is needed as training for the league format will be provided.
Requirements
- Must be 16 and older for coordinator/official positions.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
- Ability to work on Saturdays / weekends (for the full duration of each season, 6~7 weeks)
- Must be reliable!

Responsibilities
- Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
- Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
- With the help of established platforms, communicate game day information to players and parents
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
