Sport Coordinator Basketball
About The Position
Northern Kentucky University is seeking a part-time Basketball Coordinator/Coach for a 6-week late fall league (11/7/26 - 12/19/26) and a 7-week winter league (01/09/27 - 2/27/27). The role requires availability to work Saturdays, approximately from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with the final schedule to be determined. This position is ideal for college students looking to earn extra money and gain experience. Candidates must be 16 or older and have reliable transportation. Training will be provided for all positions, but a background in sports or customer service is beneficial. No certification is needed as training for the league format will be provided.
Requirements
- Must be 16 and older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
- Ability to work on Saturdays / weekends (for the full duration of each season, 6~7 weeks)
- Must be reliable

Responsibilities
- Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
- Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
