Performs a variety of complex accounting tasks which involve preparing or supervising the preparation of financial analysis, budget management, general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, statements, records, documents, and reports. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting practices, as well as knowledge of district policies and applicable regulations. The accountant will implement solutions for improvements, maintain working relationships to ensure financial records are accurate, and be detailed oriented with a high degree of accuracy. They will prepare financial reports, maintain records of financial activities, produce analysis and reports using Microsoft software, and follow process steps outlined in standard operating procedures. Strong analytical and organizational skills are necessary, along with excellent communication and customer service skills.
