About The Position
The Spiritual Counselor is a crucial member of the interdisciplinary care team, responsible for providing spiritual care. This care must align with the beliefs and desires of the patient and family, as well as the organization's guidelines and community clergy practices.
Requirements
- Licensed or ordained by a major religious body or organization
- 1+ years' experience as an ordained Minister, Pastor, Chaplain or Spiritual Counselor
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Clean background
- Clean drug screen
- Clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Hospice or Home Health
Responsibilities
- Deliver spiritual care in a manner consistent with patient and family beliefs and desires
- Ensure spiritual care aligns with organizational standards and community clergy practices
