Part-Time Spiritual Counselor As a member of the interdisciplinary hospice team, the Spiritual Counselor provides compassionate spiritual care and support to patients and families, honoring their individual beliefs, values, and wishes. Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, this role coordinates and delivers spiritual care services in alignment with each patient's plan of care and the principles of hospice.

Requirements

Experience supporting patients and families facing terminal illness
Understanding of hospice philosophy and principles
Strong interpersonal, counseling, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
Demonstrated flexibility, openness, and ecumenical approach to spiritual care
Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle required

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, or equivalent theological education preferred
Minimum of two years of pastoral experience in a hospital or community ministry setting preferred
Ordination certification preferred
