Spiritual Care Coordinator / Hospice Chaplain
About The Position
Join Our Team as a Spiritual Care Coordinator (PRN) Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? We are looking for spiritual care coordinators or chaplains to join our team who are committed to guiding each patient with dignity and compassion. As a spiritual care coordinator, you will be responsible for providing spiritual support and guidance that honors the patient’s beliefs and values. And just like all of our team members, our spiritual care coordinators have access to our supportive leadership team and professional development opportunities with plenty of room for advancement.
Requirements
- A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling, theology, divinity, or related field.
- Completion of one unit of clinical pastoral education or minister services preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a health care or hospice setting required.
- Experience in family counseling regarding issues of loss, grief, death and dying
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively
Nice To Haves
