About The Position

The Spirits Merchandiser is assigned to the On Premise & Spirits Sales Team to perform merchandising activities in assigned spirits accounts and to assist with all Spirits Team sales activities. This role requires adherence to all company policies and industry regulations, maintaining a professional appearance and attitude, and fostering professional relationships. A 'safety first' mindset is crucial, involving the use of personal protective equipment and participation in safety trainings. The position also involves developing product knowledge across the entire Faust portfolio and completing all assigned training activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, iDig, VIP Retail Portal, yDrink.
• Proficiency in VIP Mobile Sales, VIP POS, Karma, and Tagify.
• Understanding of company performance metrics.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Required to maintain a minimum coverage limit of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000 on personal vehicle auto liability and property damage insurance.
• Strength to lift, load, push, and pull cases and kegs weighing up to 130 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to operate a dolly, six-wheeler cart, and a powered/manual pallet jack.
• Ability to consistently bend, reach, and squat while moving and stocking products for up to 8 hours a day.
• Ability to work while exposed to indoor and outdoor weather conditions including high and low temperatures.
• Stamina to continuously stand and walk up to 8 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly stock Faust Distributing products in all consumer points-of-purchase in assigned accounts.
• Maintain the product quality of Faust Distributing products by properly rotating freshness dates from delivery through shelf stocking.
• Maintain the product quality of Faust Distributing products by immediately removing from a retail sales or backroom inventory location any damaged product and alert the appropriate Sales personnel.
• Assist with building displays or other retail execution activities as directed.
• Be present at the time of a Faust Distributing delivery to work the order through receiving and into Faust’s designated backroom inventory space.
• Always maintain organized, clean, and safe backroom inventory spaces.
• Support the Spirits Sales Team in day-to-day selling activities.
• Act as a relief Sales Representative for uncovered routes and complete all Sales activities to the Sales Representative standards.
