ATHL - Spirit Squad Coach
About The Position
Under the direction of Head Coach(s) and Associate AD for Marketing, this role serves as an assistant coach for dance, cheer, or mascot squads. The position requires adherence to all conduct rules and safety procedures, teaching, motivating, and developing team members. Responsibilities include assisting with practices, conditioning, creating routines and stunts, attending assigned games/events/competitions, supervising squads, problem-solving, interacting positively with the public, potentially helping run tryouts, and promoting the wellbeing of team members. The role also involves adhering to all rules and regulations of the University, Conference, and NCAA. This position requires a sporadic schedule for practices and covering assigned events and competitions, with occasional travel possible.
Requirements
- Prior dance, mascot or cheerleading experience.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.

- Experience as a collegiate cheerleader or cheerleading coach.
Responsibilities

- May include occasional travel with the team.
