This role plays a vital part in supporting food safety, product quality, and efficient production operations through hands-on involvement on the production floor. Requirements

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and follow established processes.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to endure non-weather related wet and cold environment 35 degrees.
  • Must be able to endure non-weather related hot and humid environment 100 degrees.
  • Must be able to climb stairs occasionally.
  • Must be able to stand, stoop and walk constantly.
  • Must be able to sit sustained periods of time frequently.
  • Must be able to wear protected clothing - hard hat, glasses, hearing protection, and steel toe shoes constantly.
  • Must reside in the United States to be considered.
  • Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver seasoning to various production areas in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure products and processes within assigned departments conform to company specifications, regulatory requirements, and established process guidelines.
  • Utilize SAP to maintain accurate seasoning inventory through proper rotation, tracking, transfers, and reconciliation notifications.
  • Monitor inventory levels and help ensure continuous operational support through effective inventory management practices.
  • Identify quality, material, product, or process concerns and initiate corrective actions when standards are not met.
  • Conduct pre-operational and operational auditing activities to support food safety and quality objectives.
  • Operate and monitor brine systems to ensure compliance with process requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities within other Quality Assurance functions as needed.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
