SUMMARY: This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated systems and equipment. Provides technical support for electrical, electronic, mechanical, fluid power, and manufacturing systems. Assists with the installation and modification of integrated systems, supports plant operations, provides guidance to team members in the supervisor's absence, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School or GED required.
  • 4+ years of automation experience and/or industrial maintenance experience.
  • Experience in repair and troubleshooting of electrical, electrical controls, PLCs and mechanical systems required.
  • Standard computer skills; must have strong skills in document organization, the use of technical materials, and research techniques.
  • Must either be proficient or become proficient in SAP Maintenance.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with all team members.
  • Must possess the ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations personnel; critical thinking and problem-solving skills; with strong interpersonal skills.
  • 1-5 trips per year outside of assigned location.
  • Must be able and willing to work every other weekend.
  • Must reside in the United States to be considered.
  • The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Training beyond high school including either an Associate (A.S.) degree in Electronics Technology (or closely related technical field), or experience which may include skilled trades programs or military training.
