About The Position

Responsible for the administration, interpretation and evaluation of tests and measurements. Plans and modifies treatment programs. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency, as applicable. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology/Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship.
• Possession of Intern License from the state of Texas prior to orientation (for new graduates).
• Possession of Texas State License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) (for all others).
• Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Competency in performing Modified Barium Swallow Exams.
• Competency in Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES).
• Spanish Proficiency
