About The Position

In need of a contract speech therapist on a part time basis to see home bound patients. Will pay per visit at contract rate. The Speech Therapist is a qualified, licensed professional who provides, evaluates, supervises and implements Speech Therapy services to home bound patients as prescribed by their physician's plan care. The therapist manages a patients with complex needs, using professional, client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate therapeutic treatments and interventions. Treatment plans vary greatly according to individual needs and often involve ongoing modifications. The therapist will evaluate progress and suggest any necessary changes to the treatment plan for approval from the physician. The Speech Therapist shall evaluate, plan and administer Speech Therapy Treatments as ordered by the physician. The purpose of this position is to evaluate, plan, direct, supervise and monitor the professional therapeutic services provided to ensure superior patient care of a quality that is ethical and meets company standards, as well as all state board rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Louisiana State Speech Therapist License (Required)
• Speech therapy: 1 year (Preferred)
