About The Position
Human Touch Home Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team serving Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Radford, Pulaski, Floyd, Giles County, Montgomery County, and surrounding New River Valley communities. This is a PRN opportunity that offers flexibility, professional independence, and the ability to make a meaningful impact every day. As a Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll help patients overcome challenges related to speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowing while improving their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Every patient has a story. Every visit is an opportunity to help them tell it.
Requirements
- Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist License Required
- Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
- Strong Communication and Documentation Skills
Nice To Haves
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Preferred
- Home Health Experience Preferred but Not Required
- Passion for Delivering Exceptional Patient-Centered Care
Responsibilities
- Complete speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and needs
- Provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes
- Educate patients and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
