About The Position

We are seeking a Speech Therapist. As our Speech Therapist, you are responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. You will conduct communication assessments and provide evidence-based therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in acute and medically complex settings. You will also provide cognitive-communication therapy targeting attention, memory, executive function, and problem-solving in patients with neurological conditions. Additionally, you will educate patients and caregivers on safe swallowing, communication strategies, and appropriate use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems to support functional outcomes. You will treat patients across ICU, Inpatient Rehab, NICU, and Pediatrics, addressing feeding, swallowing, congenital, critical care and other communication needs. Your role will enhance quality of life and safety by supporting safe oral intake, restoring communication, and promoting cognitive-linguistic recovery.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in speech-language pathology required.
  • Active license to practice speech language pathology in the state of anticipated employment, free of disciplinary action required.
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA), free of disciplinary action – OR - Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFs) to be considered on a case-by-case basis (provided proper supervision can be afforded to the CF) required.
  • At least one year of experience in a hospital setting.
  • Current BLS for healthcare provider’s certification upon hire and maintain current.
