About The Position

Right at Home is a growing, locally owned home health company in Cedar Falls. We proudly provide skilled nursing, Occupational and Physical therapies, companionship, and personal care services to a wide variety of clients in Eastern Iowa, including veterans. We are seeking a PRN Speech Therapist to expand the level of skilled care available to our clients.

Requirements

Must be a Speech Therapist.
Ability to work independently and autonomously, managing one’s own schedule.
Passion for serving others.

Experience working with veterans.

Responsibilities

Provide high quality evaluation and treatment of disorders related to speech and swallowing.
Develop personalized care plans to improve one's ability to vocalize, communicate, eat, and overall function of patients in the home setting, involving them in setting goals.
Communicate and collaborate with associated medical professionals to achieve patient goals.
Clear, concise, timely documentation in our software system.
Regular communication with physicians, nurses, case managers within Veterans Affairs as needed.
Ability to work independently and autonomously, managing one’s own schedule.
Supervise home health aides involved in patient care.
