Requirements

One year of speech therapy experience
Current license in good standing with the state of Oklahoma medical board
CPR certification or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of being hired
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks while demonstrating good time management
Highly organized and attentive to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality speech therapy services in accordance with the patient's plan of care.
Assist the physician in evaluating the level of functioning in each patient through initial and ongoing assessments.
Develop or revise the plan of care based on assessments.
Prepare clinical and progress notes.
Consult with the family and other agency personnel.
Provide all services in accordance with CMS documentation and billing requirements.
Practice infection control by following universal precautions.
Actively recognize and report any forms of abuse according to policy and federal and state laws.
Assist with orientation for new hires when needed.
Participate in training activities.
