About The Position
Carolina Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to work in a skilled nursing setting. The role provides evidence-based therapeutic interventions to post-acute and long-term care patients, helping them improve mobility, function, and quality of life. The therapist documents patient progress and treatment plans and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, including therapists and restorative nursing staff, to support a positive, patient-centered environment focused on outcomes and quality care. Flexible scheduling options are available. Department hours are 6:00 AM–8:00 PM, and the facility is open seven days per week.
Requirements
- Valid North Carolina SLP license.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to post-acute and long-term care residents.
- Accurately document patient progress and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including therapists and restorative nursing staff.
- Support a positive, patient-centered environment focused on outcomes and quality care.
