About The Position

Saint Clare's Health is seeking a Speech Pathology professional to evaluate patients and plan and implement treatment for disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and other services prescribed by a physician. The role also assists in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs to enhance the department.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited college or university with a master's degree in speech-language pathology.
Active license to practice speech-language pathology in the state of anticipated employment, free of disciplinary action.
Active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, free of disciplinary action; Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFs) may be considered case by case if proper supervision can be provided.
Current BLS for healthcare provider certification upon hire and maintain current.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients with disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and other prescribed needs.
Plan and implement patient treatment.
Assist in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs that enhance the department.
