About The Position
Amedisys is hiring a PRN Speech Pathologist to provide home health care in Duval and Clay counties. The role involves preventing, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults. It also provides aural rehabilitation for people who are deaf or hard of hearing and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for people with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders. Other duties may be assigned. The position offers a base rate of $72 to $90, converting to a per-visit rate. Requirements
- Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the state assigned.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Completed graduate coursework and clinical practicum at a college or university whose program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).
- Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

- Provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
