About The Position

Lexington Park Health & Rehab is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Pathologist to join its therapy team. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. The schedule is part-time with flexible hours to accommodate patient needs. The position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive therapy team and with seniors and individuals who have communication and swallowing disorders. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with seniors and individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing disorders.
• Provide speech, language, and swallowing therapy services to patients.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in staff education and training programs to stay current with best practices in speech pathology.
