About The Position

Sovah Health - Danville is seeking a Speech Pathologist (SP) for a PRN position. The Speech Pathologist will play a vital role in assessing speech, language, and swallowing abilities, developing and implementing treatment plans, educating patients and families, documenting progress, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
• CPR certification.

• Experience in acute or rehab setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
