About The Position
Ascend is seeking a California-licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide home-based early intervention services for children ages 0–3 in Oakland, and nearby communities. This role is open to both full-time and part-time candidates. Ascend is a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional care, empowering therapists with flexibility, support, and professional growth.
Requirements
- Valid California SLPA license
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Oakland, CA, before starting work
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children with special needs, especially in the birth-to-three population
- Prior experience in early intervention
