The Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supports the functions of the speech-language pathologist in assessing and documenting the speech, language, and general development skills of students with speech/language impairments. The SLPA also follows a prescribed individualized treatment plan to correct or improve speech/language deficiencies in students.
