About The Position

Care First Rehab is seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our home care team. This full-time, W2 position involves providing services in patients' homes and daycares within Wake County, NC. We are a mid-size organization owned and operated by an Occupational Therapist, prioritizing employee well-being and a collaborative environment. We serve both adult and pediatric populations and offer modern tools, full support, and a focus on compassionate care across the lifespan.

Requirements

Certified by the National Board for Certification.
Valid and current state license as a Speech Therapist Assistant (SLPA).
Experience working with both pediatric and adult populations is required.
Strong clinical reasoning.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently in a home-care setting.

Responsibilities

Delivering direct therapy services as directed by the supervising SLP for both adult and pediatric patients.
Following customized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication needs in natural environments.
Monitoring and documenting patient progress, adjusting therapy activities for continuous improvement.
Collaborating across disciplines (PT/OT/ST/FT) to ensure patients receive well-rounded, high-quality intervention.
