About The Position

Ascend is hiring a pediatric Speech Language Pathology Assistant for the 2025–2026 school year, with the potential to extend the contract. The position is based in Gilroy, California, and across Northern California. The assistant supports licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech therapy to pediatric patients in settings that include schools and acute care environments. Ascend also describes work across schools, clinics, and home-based early intervention settings.

The role includes implementing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and documenting patient progress. The assistant collaborates with educators and parents to support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintains First Aid and CPR certifications to promote patient safety. Requirements

• Active California Speech Language Pathology Assistant License.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with families and team members.

Responsibilities
