About The Position

Mariposa Therapy Services is a multidisciplinary, clinician-led pediatric therapy organization serving schools across the Greater Phoenix region. We are actively interviewing for a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support school-based services in Coolidge, Arizona for the 2026–2027 school year. Many of our therapists commute from Gilbert, Chandler, and Queen Creek , making this a manageable and highly preferred service area for East Valley clinicians. At Mariposa, SLPAs work as part of a long-term, highly experienced multidisciplinary team, including onsite SLP supervisors, OTs, PTs, and school teams. Strong Multidisciplinary Team Work alongside SLPs, OTs, PTs, and school teams within long-standing district partnerships. Established School Programs Our school teams are well-integrated and supported, with administrative coordination for scheduling, compliance, and documentation. Supportive Supervision SLPAs work with onsite supervising SLPs and experienced clinical leaders to support therapy planning, documentation, and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Implement therapy plans developed by supervising SLPs to address student communication goals
  • Use creative and engaging therapy strategies to support student participation and progress
  • Maintain accurate session documentation and data collection using a web-based system
  • Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and school staff to support student outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and assist with therapy materials and activities as directed
  • Demonstrate positive rapport with students, families, and school teams
  • Follow district and state guidelines for therapy services and documentation
