About The Position

BMS Pediatric Therapy Group, P.C. is hiring Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for part-time positions. We are a mobile private practice providing speech and developmental therapy services to children aged 6 months to 18 years. Our team consists of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists experienced with diverse pediatric populations. This role focuses on building a caseload of clients from birth to 3 years in the greater Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs, offering in-home or virtual services. Opportunities for children over three are also available.

Requirements

Master's Degree from an ASHA-accredited program
Active State of Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license
Eligibility for DHS-IL Early Intervention credentialing and ISBE Educator Licensure.
Must possess a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a vehicle to travel in the Chicago metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients/clients and develop a plan of care with quantifiable speech and language outcome targets.
Administer and interpret standardized tests for diagnosis of communication disorders.
Provide diagnosis, treatment, instruction, and other speech and language services according to scope of practice limitations per State statute.
Update patient progress and provide progress notes to appropriate parties.
Utilize research-based treatment methods.
Exhibit compliance with HIPAA regulations, reimbursement requirements, and SLP's responsibilities.
