About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a school setting in Houston, TX. This is a travel or local position with a duration of 42 weeks. The schedule is a day shift from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week. The role involves providing speech and language therapy to middle and high school students, utilizing American Sign Language (ASL) for communication and instruction. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and collaborating with the SLP team for caseload management. Accurate documentation of student progress and maintenance of records are also key aspects of this position.
Requirements
- Active Texas SLP License (or in process)
- Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASL proficiency required
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) eligible
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
