About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking passionate Speech-Language Pathologists to join their team in helping every child find their voice for a school district in Sebring, FL during the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers a hybrid schedule, with 3-4 days in-person and 1-2 days virtual. The role involves conducting evaluations to identify, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services using both in-person and virtual platforms, and maintaining accurate documentation to track student data and communicate progress.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Florida State Speech Language Pathology (SLP) License and FLDOE Certification
  • Prior experience with school-based therapy practices

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations to identify, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders within a school-based setting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring goals are measurable and aligned with student needs.
  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services, adapting techniques to support various age groups and developmental levels using both in-person and virtual platforms.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and track student data to adjust treatment plans and communicate progress effectively to educators and families.
