About The Position

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Home Health, Feeding Experience Preferred. Aveanna Healthcare, following its merger with Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care, is expanding its care team and patient population. The company offers industry-leading pediatric therapy across multiple settings, matching therapists to patients based on medical condition, age, location, and acuity. The local office is seeking a compassionate SLP for home health in the Richmond or Sugar Land/Katy areas, aiming to make a positive impact on patients' lives. Requirements

• Meets the qualifications as established by ASHA or other professional organization.
• Licensed to practice Speech Therapy in the current state of practice.
• Meets the education and experience requirements for a Certification of Clinical Competence in speech pathology or audiology granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; or meets the educational requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating the supervised experience required for certification.
• Must be willing to work in home settings.
• Valid, unexpired Driver’s License and automotive insurance.

• Experienced in pediatric rehabilitative services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy for kids of all ages in home health settings.
• Work in a 1:1 therapist to patient ratio.
• Cluster caseloads together and close to home.
• Potentially supervise other therapists.
