About The Position

Aveanna Healthcare, a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults, is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for home health services. This role is specifically for a full-time SLP in the Cypress, Katy, North West Houston/Jersey Village, or Tomball areas.

Requirements

• Meets the qualifications as established by ASHA or other professional organization.
• Licensed to practice Speech Therapy in the current state of practice.
• Meets the education and experience requirements for a Certification of Clinical Competence in speech pathology or audiology granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; or meets the educational requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating the supervised experience required for certification.
• Must be willing to work in home settings.
• Valid, unexpired Driver’s License and automotive insurance.

• Experienced in pediatric rehabilitative services.
• Feeding Experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy in home health settings.
• Manage full caseloads with a 1:1 therapist to patient ratio.
• Cluster caseloads together and close to home.
• Work in home settings.
• Provide rehabilitative services.
• Provide feeding therapy (training provided if needed).
