About The Position
Preferred Therapy Solutions is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC) for its sub-acute/skilled nursing rehabilitation department at The Pines at Utica in Utica, New York. This is a 30-hour-per-week role serving short-term rehabilitation and long-term care caseloads in a fast-paced facility. The rehabilitation team is described as award-winning, with an experienced rehab director and accommodating, convenient hours for therapists. The organization is therapist-owned and operated and emphasizes appropriate, ethical patient care, high-quality outcomes, and helping patients and residents reach their highest level of independence. The role is suited to a team-oriented therapist who can collaborate with rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff. SNF experience and strong documentation skills are encouraged. The position requires CCCs and offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The stated good-faith rate range is $45.00–$50.00.
Requirements
- Have current Speech Language Pathologist (ST/SLP) licensure, or be license-eligible, to practice in the state of employment.
- Must have CCCs.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Have experience with electronic documentation.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
- Work well with others in a team setting.
