About The Position
Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – PreK | 2026-2027 School Year. This is a full-time, onsite position serving PreK students with a caseload of approximately 35-40 students. The schedule is consistent weekdays with holidays and school breaks off, from August 17, 2026, to May 26, 2027, with daily hours from 8:00 AM to 2:45 PM. The role focuses on fostering communication skills that promote academic readiness and social success in young learners.
Requirements
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Current Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathology License required
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide individualized therapy services
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's communication needs
- Support students with speech, language, articulation, fluency, and social communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and other related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain timely, accurate documentation
- Foster communication skills that promote academic readiness and social success
