This role supports two skilled nursing facilities in Roseburg, Oregon, with new increased wages of $48-$65 per hour depending on experience. Requirements
- Active Oregon Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license or eligibility
- CFY candidates and new graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
Nice To Haves
- VitalStim certification preferred (not required)
- Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Help residents improve communication, cognition, and swallowing safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support resident outcomes
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing safety
- Complete accurate and timely documentation and billing
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing setting
