We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a renewable contract position at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. This role involves supporting patients in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. Requirements
- Active Kentucky Speech Pathologist license
- At least 1 year of travel experience
- IPR and acute care skill level experience
- AHA BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and rehabilitation goals
- Provide intensive, evidence-based therapy for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, or surgery
- Documenting patient progress and updates
