About The Position

LifeScape is seeking a full-time pediatric Speech Language Pathologist for its outpatient location in Sioux Falls. The role involves serving children and families, aiming to advance clients' communication skills in a fun, child-centered environment. As part of a regional leader in pediatric therapy, the SLP will collaborate with other therapists and disciplines, with opportunities to specialize in areas such as Augmentative and Alternative Communication, feeding and swallowing therapies, complex communication needs, autism evaluation and treatment, and supporting clients with tracheostomy/ventilator needs. Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited Speech Language Pathology Program.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or eligible to enter Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Current licensure or eligible for licensure in South Dakota.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality care in a fun, child-centered environment.
  • Advance clients’ communication skills to their optimal capabilities.
  • Partner with other SLPs and a variety of additional therapeutic disciplines.
  • Engage in co-treatment sessions as appropriate.
  • Become involved working in a variety of specialty areas, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication, feeding and swallowing therapies, complex communication needs, autism evaluation and treatment, and supporting clients with tracheostomy/ventilator needs.
  • Advance current programs as well as develop new programs.
