About The Position
InHome Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech Therapist (SLP) to provide in-home speech therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in the Sarasota area. This role focuses on helping patients improve their communication, cognition, and swallowing abilities to enhance their quality of life and independence. The position offers a flexible schedule, consistent patient volume, and a supportive team environment.
Requirements
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (CCC SLP) license in good standing
- BLS CPR certification
- Reliable transportation to see patients in their homes
- Basic comfort with technology - email, texting, EMR systems (training provided)
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-home speech therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in their home
- Evaluate patient communication, cognition, and swallowing to develop individualized treatment goals
- Implement effective rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise programs
- Educate patients and families on recovery plans and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and timely home health care documentation per Medicare and agency standards
