About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to support K-12 students through assessment, intervention, and collaborative special education services for the 2026-2027 school year in the Elkton, MD area. This role involves providing speech-language therapy services and targeted interventions to support students' communication, language, and educational goals. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized recommendations, and supporting the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The position also requires maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring student progress, and ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal requirements. Collaboration with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams is essential to promote student success and create supportive learning environments.

Requirements

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
Previous experience in a school-based setting with knowledge of evaluations, IEP processes, and multidisciplinary team collaboration
