About The Position

Carolina Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join their Waynesville clinic team. This role focuses on providing exceptional pediatric speech therapy, helping children find their voice, improve communication, and participate more fully in life. The Waynesville clinic is part of an established network serving children and families in Haywood County and surrounding areas. Clinicians work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including SLPs, OTs, PTs, Psychology, and Behavioral Health professionals. Therapy can take place in the clinic or in natural environments like homes, schools, and daycares, with the goal of helping children use their communication skills in meaningful moments. The position emphasizes supporting clinicians with clinical collaboration, mentorship from experienced SLPs and leadership, protected planning time, professional development opportunities, and efficient documentation systems. This is a part-time, pay-per-visit role designed for flexibility, allowing clinicians to create their own schedules, choose their availability, and build a caseload that fits their goals while remaining connected to a supportive clinical team and making a meaningful impact.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• North Carolina SLP license or eligibility for NC licensure
• ASHA certification or eligibility

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat children with a variety of communication needs
• Develop individualized, functional treatment plans
• Provide engaging, evidence-informed pediatric therapy
