About The Position
Relient Health is seeking a full-time, certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a permanent placement at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Jackson, Michigan. The role is part of a dedicated rehabilitation team in a facility described as collaborative and supportive, with clinical leadership and mentorship. The position is open to new graduates and experienced professionals; applicants who are completing a clinical fellowship are directed to a separate CFY application because this opening requires SLP-CCC credentials. The estimated pay rate is approximately $37–$41 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Current Michigan SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- CCC-SLP required for this location.
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient progress using EMR systems.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to provide coordinated care.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment goals and progress.
