About The Position
Relient Health is recruiting a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a skilled nursing facility in Middletown, Rhode Island. This is a direct-hire, permanent-placement role on a dedicated rehabilitation team. The facility is described as providing high-quality rehabilitation services and offering clinical leadership, mentorship, a collaborative therapy department, and support for professional growth. Applicants may be new graduates or experienced professionals, but this opening requires CCC-SLP certification; clinical fellowship applicants are directed to a separate application. The position offers an estimated rate of approximately $43–$53 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Current Rhode Island SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- CCC-SLP certification required for this location.
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient progress using EMR systems.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to deliver coordinated care.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment goals and progress.
