Speech Language Pathologist at Sky Ranch Academy (2026-27 School Year)
About The Position
Sky Ranch Academy, located in Watkins, Colorado, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-27 school year. This position is scheduled for 36 hours per week. Sky Ranch Academy opened in the fall of 2023 and serves students K-8. The school offers a positive culture with strong parental involvement, personalized development and coaching opportunities, and class-leading safety measures. Staff understand their purpose and receive support to achieve their goals. NHA provides specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability such as, resource room, inclusion and/or pullout services.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in communication disorders or speech-language pathology from a regionally accredited institution
- Verification of 8-week practicum with children and students ages 0-21 in a school setting full time under the supervision of a professionally licensed SLP
- School Speech - Language Pathologist Special Services License issued by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
- Speech - Language Pathologist License issued by the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) OR Valid ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
Responsibilities
- The SLP works in collaboration with the special education teacher in the formation of daily schedules, testing schedules, and annual meetings.
- The SLP also supplies the special education teacher with current speech/language student lists so he/she can maintain a master Special Education list.
