About The Position
Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school students in Lawndale, CA for the 2026-2027 school year. This role focuses on providing essential communication and transition support to help young adults prepare for their future.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Valid CTC Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential

- Prior experience providing speech-language services in a school-based setting
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations to identify communication needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to high school students, both individually and in small group settings.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educational staff to support student success and ensure compliance with applicable special education regulations.
