Liberty Rehabilitation Hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN position in Inpatient Rehabilitation. Requirements

• Licensed Speech Therapist in the state of OH.
• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
• Basic Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
• Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
• Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.
