About The Position

The PRN Speech-Language Pathologist plans, conducts and evaluates the treatment program for individuals with disorders in the comprehension and production of speech and language, as set forth by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Under the direction of the attending physician, the Speech-Language Pathologist provides assessment and treatment of cognitive and swallowing disorders.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Experience with cognitive and swallowing disorders

Responsibilities

  • Plans, conducts and evaluates the treatment program for individuals with disorders in the comprehension and production of speech and language, as set forth by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
  • Provides assessment and treatment of cognitive and swallowing disorders under the direction of the attending physician.
