About The Position

Metro Therapy, Inc., a Powerback Pediatrics company, provides pediatric speech therapy services through its Early Intervention program. The Speech Language Pathologist works with children in a variety of settings, which may include homes or centers. The role includes evaluating and assessing children, tracking their progress, delivering services as mandated in each child's IFSP, collaborating with families and other professionals, and completing documentation and progress notes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders, or a similarly titled area consistent with and acceptable to ASHA.
• Possess or be eligible for an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CF status).
• Be licensed, certified, or credentialed as required in the state of practice.
• DOH approval is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to children in Early Intervention settings, which may include homes or centers.
• Perform evaluations and assessments and track child progress.
• Deliver speech therapy services as mandated in the IFSP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support each child's goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
