About The Position

Concept Rehab is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a flexible PRN opportunity in post-acute rehabilitation. The SLP will help patients improve communication, cognition, and swallowing while working as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. Concept Rehab is a therapist-owned company with over 45 years of experience providing high-quality rehabilitation services.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of Michigan.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Clinical Fellowship candidates are encouraged to apply where applicable.
• Experience in post-acute rehabilitation, rehabilitation services, or geriatric care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide skilled speech-language pathology services in a post-acute rehabilitation setting.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment strategies and home programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
• Participate in care planning to help patients achieve their highest level of independence and function.
